Bathroom Storage Ideas – Laundry Basket

The designers at the Kitchen & Bathroom Place never miss an opportunity to come up with space saving and innovative bathroom storage ideas.

They were recently asked to re-design this family bathroom in Caversham.  The customers wanted a streamlined and clutter free look with more storage.

This is how we achieved the desired look:-

We re-positioned the bath and added a wall hung WC to create more floor space.

Our designers created a cleverly concealed laundry basket in the void area between the end of the bath and the wall.  This made excellent use of this space which would otherwise not have been utilised.  There was no need for a freestanding laundry basket and the uncluttered design of the room was maintained.  The hatch for the laundry basket matched the new vanity unit and was custom made for this project.

A recessed shower caddy and shower valve were built in to a new stud wall.

We fitted a contemporary basin and vanity unit.  This added some much needed storage for toilet rolls and cleaning products.  Above the basin we added an illuminated slimline mirrored cabinet.
