Looking for inspiration for your bathroom?  Here’s our pick of some of the key decor trends for 2019:-

★  THE PANTONE COLOUR OF THE YEAR 2019 has been announced as PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral.

This colour has been described as embracing lightheartedness, joy, fun, softness and optimism.

It’s so easy to introduce Living Coral into your neutral bathroom.  Here are a few ideas to inspire you:-

Change the towels, or add new bathroom accessories such as a soap dispenser or bath mat.

Try adding a vase of cut flowers to brighten up the room

Or why not introduce a feature tile or wallpaper to your bathroom?

★  Still #OnTrend for 2019 – Herringbone tile pattern- a classic pattern with great visual versatility in both the bathroom and kitchen. We absolutely love the visual impact of these tiles which can be seen in Original Style & Merlyn Showering brochures. The effect is stunning!

★  Have you ever thought about adding wallpaper to create a feature wall in your bathroom or cloakroom? It can add beautiful colour, drama, quirkiness or serenity to an otherwise neutral bathroom.  The possibilities are endless!

★  Make a statement in your bathroom or kitchen with hexagonal tiles and mosaics on walls and floors. The hexagonal tile lets you achieve a different aesthetic as opposed to a more traditional rectangular and square tile. From classic, matte and neutral to contemporary, iridescent and brightly coloured, these tiles can really bring the wow factor to your room.

★  In 2019 the trend for wooden plank effect tiles in the bathroom or kitchen is still evident. These tiles have an incredible realism, and come in a large variety of colours and textures. ★  The industrial luxe look continues in 2019. We’re seeing more exposed brick and concrete effect finishes teamed with brushed metal, brass and copper fittings.

★  2019 sees green plants on wallpaper, tiles and soft furnishings being #ontrend, but not only that, it has been proven that adding greenery to your bathroom can be beneficial to both your health and relaxation.
